Bottle. Pours a dark brown to black colour with a beige head. Lots of coffee beans in the aroma along with roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa and some dried fruit. The flavor is similar with lots of roastedness, oak, ash and some smoke. Has a slick mouthfeel, medium body and a balanced bitterness. A well-roasted and coffee-based stout. Nice but maybe one dimensional.

Mørk brun klar med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter melkesjokolade, kandis og kakaopulver. Middels til lett. Lett bitterhet. Kakaopulver og en lett salt smak.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Haugesund. Black with a large tan head. A lot of coffee both in the aroma and taste. Also roasted malt and hints of dark chocolate. The body was medium and the carbonation was lively.

Nice and tasty evening sipper.
Black color with a thick nice beige head. Mellow and fine intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a soft carbonation. Creamy texture. Lovely balanced coffee in the flavor.

330ml bottle, batch 50, brought back home by Frau Eva from Vinmonopolet Stokmarknes. Devil-black body under a stable creamy, tan-coloured head leaving spotty lacing behind. Roasted malty aromas of coffee grounds and cocoa powder. Coffee and dark chocolate flavours. Roasted bitterness towards the ending. Medium bodied and rounded mouth feel. Tasty coffee stout, well-made (Tromsø 06.05.2016).

Nice light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is dry roasted, burnt toast, espresso, dark malts, dark sugar, minerals, hay, roasted nuts, hints of lactose and chocolate. Taste is dry roasted, weeds, roasted grain, minerals, bark, espresso, burnt toast, hay, paper, cocoa. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and watery mouthfeel. Nice.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Batch 50. Kullsort. Høyt mokkafarget skum som daler veldig sakte. Pene filigranser. God aroma av kakao. Smaken mer kakao. Blir tørr etter hvert. Behagelig men kanskje litt uvariert.

Kick 161215. Black colour with a brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, berries, yeast, sugar, cocoa, chocolate. Very nice beer.

Fra flaske (30.09.15) på Mi2 Cardinal mars-16: brunsvart med mye skum - her mer enn antydes en overkarbonering. God aroma av kvalitetskaffe, mørk sjokolade og et snev av lakris. Smaken er halvtørr, kaffesyrlig med et par mørke bær. Bedre aroma enn smak desverre, og slank på grensen til tynn. Skal gis en ny sjanse, da jeg har en flaske fra polets nettbutikk i kjelleren.
