Bottle, at Patrick’s. It produces a lot of light beige foam over a lightly hazy light brown body. Lacing. The aroma is a bit weak I think, with dark caramel, some roasted malts, a hint of ham and bonfire and some citrus hints. The flavor is likewise, weak, with a fine bitterness. Full to medium body and a bit heavy carbonation, semi dry. Long finish with more bitterness than smoke. Drinkable and flawless, but too heavy on the carbonation and lacking on smoke. In my opinion. 160407

16.01.2016, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Soft gusher. Huge fizzy longlasting head. Aroma is co2 stinging in the nose, minerals, smoked malts, grass, weeds, paper, unripe banana, caramel. Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, paper, alcohol, smoked malts, grass, caramel, nuts. Medium bitterness, sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel, very fizzy carbonation. Drainpour, this must be infected...

Bottle at home. Pours a deep reddish brown color with a big creamy beige head. Aroma of smoked meat, wood, leather, heather, forest floor and spices. The flavor is similar with more wood, leather, bread and sweet malt. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. Is well-balanced with a pleasant amount of smoke. Great brew.

Flaske 330ml. Gave fra Jan Erik drukket i Skibotn 8 Aug 15. Mørk brun. Filmskum. Bra røykaroma. Smaken balansert. Litt bacon. Røyk. Behagelog øl. Litt tørr ettersmak. Bunnfall som gir en ekstra uklar siste kvelling. Sikkert et godt matøl.

330ml bottle, batch #0050, bought at Bodø Vinmonopolet and another one at the pub Kaptein Larsen in Bodø. Slightly cloudy dark brown body. Bubbly, beige head slowly fading while leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Smoked grainy malts on the nose. Nicely taste character of peated malts with notes of dark vanilla and brittle caramel. Dark fruity tail. Well balanced and rather smooth on the swallow. Again, a good one from the microbrewery (17 and 19.07.2015).
