12 oz bottle. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma is some light citrusy hops on top of biscuity malts, with a touch of sweetness. Flavor is similar, with a nice lemony citrus hoppiness and a bit of honey sweetness to compliment the biscuit and grain flavors. This seemed like quite a nice example of the style to me.

Slightly hazy deep amber/copper coloured body with an absolutely huge and undrinkable tan head. Aroma of english hops, nice caramel malt, some metal and a solid amount of fruits-grapes, apricots and peaches. Medium-bodied; Mild malty taste with very minimal hops and a decent fruity flavour. Aftertaste very bland and showing a small amount of the character. Overall, a pretty bad offering - very mild tasting and the head and carbonation detract from the beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 12-September-2005.

on tap-pours a rich thin head that laces and hazy amber/copper color. Aroma is medium malt-roasty/peat. Taste is medium/dark malt-chicory/molasses/roasty/peat, secondary earthy hops.

Botte and on tap. Nice presentation, off golden appearance with plenty of brown tinges. Good cream like head. Nice cloudiness, glad to see sediment in the bottle. Has a subtle yet hoppy smell. Opens with a fresh hops flavor that is quickly doused with some mildly sweet pale or crystal malt. Not sure. Flavor lasts thanks to the quality brewing. Slightly sourish finish of hops. Has more body than it does flavor. Not sure what to say about this one. Good palette and mouthfeel, flavor is good for a mild ale, just a tad off on something. . .
