Can shared in London - many thanks to Colin. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, white head. Nice aroma, with notes of pithy citrus, light tangy brett, grapefruit. Light sweet flavor with moderate flinty minerals, tangerine, more grapefruit, bready sugars, bitter rind, faint pine. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish, with pale bread, light pine needles, grapefruit. Tasty, if a little simple.

Can thanks to Cloin. It pours hazy gold with small white head. The aroma is earthy, funky, fresh, orange sherbet, apricot, orange chewits, Pina colada and tropical fruits. The taste is crisp, earthy, bready, funk, orange peel, mango, tropical fruits and stewed pineapple with a smooth finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Nice aroma and very drinkable.

Can split at Bespin, from Beer Gonzo, 21/03/16. Hazel orange golden with a decent off White covering. Nose is orange wine gums, subtle Brett notes, juicy hop, light pine, toasted bread. Taste comprises bitter orange, sharp citric licks, Brett pangs, citric tinged straw, apricot. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, juicy hop rinse with a subtle Brett rasp in the close. Solid bretted sessioner.

Can. Curious Hop, Otley. Cloudy gold. No head. Nose has tangerine, grain and a whiff of brett. Taste is soft sweet, and very light bitter. Soft mouthfeel. Light bitter finish. The brett, as I suspected, hasn’t done its thing, yet. As it is, it’s just ok. Will re-rate.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber and hazy, with light haze. Nose - green plant stalk, then lime and something tropical. Maybe papaya? Taste - oh very interesting, mandarin and canteloupe melon super ripe. Again, citrus at the back. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - lovely interesting beer.

29.02.16 Can from The Beerhive - less than three weeks old. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pineapple, salted cracker and lemon peel. Flavour of passionfruit, underripe pear and flower petals. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Tangy and refreshing. I’ve bought a second can for ageing - waiting to drink it will test my patience... 4 7 7 3 14 04.09.16 Can from The Beerhive - seven months old. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange, red apple, flower stem, dried grass and pineapple. Flavour of apricot, tangerine, orange sherbet and green apple peel. Medium body with a frothy texture. Soft fizz. Six months of ageing has improved this beer in my opinion. Complex and delicious. 4 8 8 3 16
