500ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb, Revenge of the Norfolk. Pours hazy red-brown, thin off-white head. Aromas of red fruit, malt. Taste is toffee, light metallic note. Best Humpty Dumpty beer I’ve had yet...

Hand-pulled pint in The Kings Head, Lingwood on 20th April 2014. As the name suggests this is a red coloured brew, clear mahogany red actually, well my pint was anyway. Creamy head with lacing. The brew is malty yet dry in the mouth. Caramel sweetness tempered with some bittering hops make this a pleasant and easy to drink beer. I can see how it came away with an award at the Norwich Beer Festival (2nd in the Best Bitter category). Well made and another beer from here that I’ve enjoyed (they don’t, or at least didn’t travel well).
