Queen of Hops has a soft fruity aroma, rounded and grassy with hints of marmalade. Followed by a tangy burst of hops on the palate, with some underpinning of malt and bitterness. There are more hop flavours in the finish, but zestier, more citrus, with a pleasing bitterness. A refreshing pale ale with a satisfying, lasting finish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Beautiful Beers. Pours clear gold with a modest, creamy white head. Lightly sweet with simple, mellow pale bread, subtle lemon rind, straw, leaves and grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mellow pale grain notes in the finish, more pale bread, mild bitter hay. Easygoing, easy-drinking beer.

Clear golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body (fine for an 3,7% ale) and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet and a decent bitterness to back it up. Herbal/grassy, caramel malty and mild citric flavor. Decent easy drinkable beer at the pub.
