Pale ale isn’t just for the summer right? Brewed with the finest English malt and a marriage of copious quantities of two North American hops. There’s plenty of intense spice and pine characteristics with subtle notes of grapefruit. The addition of El Dorado hops gives extra floral and tropical notes. It’s very refreshing with an enjoyable dry bitter finish. Available January - March.

Cask @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Pale golden in colour. Mildly floral-hoppy with a dryness, it has a clean tasting texture.

Clear golden color with a small white layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft to average carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Malty, grain and herbal hoppy flavor.

By gravicask at Murderers in Norwich. Pale golden body, dotted spots on the glass. Hints of ripe citrus on the nose. Flavoured with grainy malts, citrus and grassy hops. Smooth bitter end. Satisfying (Shared with Cunningham 18.02.2017).

Cask @ Murderers, Norwich. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, fruits, hops and malt. Good bitter finish.

Cask @ Gardeners Arms, Norwich. Pours yellow with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, grassy hops, light fruit. Flavor is rather bitter, malt, grassy hops, light citrus. Medium body, soft carbonation, dry and lasting bitter finish. 180217

Cask at the Murderers, Norwich. Pours golden with a small off white head. Aroma of fresh grassy hop, light malt, fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body and slight sticky texture, carbonation is average.

At the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 1/12/2016. Golden in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. A hoppy and easy drinking beer, with plenty of tropical fruits, some floral hops, slightly biscuity malts before a gentle finish. Very good.
