Pours a piss color from a can. Drink it as cold as possible to mask the adjunct-y flavor and smell and youβll be fine.

Bottle. A quid, from the shop that was called Rythmn & Booze. Clear gold. Lovely, thick, lasting, bubbly, bright white head. Aroma is corn. Some lemon. Beery spew. Some grassy hop. Not bad, barring the spew bit. Taste is dry, with an artificial feeling sweetness. Turns metallic, and fairly unpleasant. More of the artificial thing at the end. Not nice.

From a long neck bottle at Oceanss Bistro in Avon NC. Aroma? Who nose? Flavor of assorted grains. And to think this was one of my faves in high school. Now it has some cachet among craft beer deniers.

A slightly better flavor than itβs larger macro brothers, but a pale lager nonetheless. No aroma. Slight corn flavor with a metallic bit that lingers. PBR baby.

Bottle @ Home. Pours clear light yellow with a fading white head. Aroma of light grain, paper, a hint of grass. Flavor is light malt, sweet, grain, wet paper. Thin watery body, lively carbonation. 250115

My brother in law is visiting and he brought some of this into my house - typical watery, sweet, andjuncty american lager - moderate acidity that gets a little sharp on the tail end - faint grassy hoppiness - a lot of vegetal character in the finish - creamed corn - bleck.

355ml bottle. Smooth and grainy beginning. Easy to drink, watery and sweetish. Too much sweetness, nearly no bitterness. Very watery.

I drank this in college when it was cheap and I did not know any better. Thankfully I received a beer education while living in Europe and never have to drink this one again.

Can back in Montreal, I canβt believe I didnβt rate this before. Ok what to say: It is a pretty typical macro yellow gold lager, sweet, sugary and mostly inoffensive. Beloved for being cheap and not much different from pricier macros. Average macro lager meaning below-average for a good beer.
