Bottle. Orange blonde color. Peach, citrus and a hint of smoke in the aroma. Slightly tart floral perfumed hopbitter flavor with citrus. Perfumed and smoky notes linger in the aftertaste. Hint of white pepper. Complex, highly drinkable beer.

Mooi subtiel en fluweelzacht. Deed aan Orval denken. Zurig gist. Bijzonder lekker! --- Beer merged from original tick of En Garde! - Amarillo Hops Edition on 22 Nov 2014 at 21:30 - Score: 9. Original review text: Mooi subtiel en fluweelzacht. Deed aan Orval denken. Zurig gist. Bijzonder lekker!

Bottled from de Molen beershop, batch 14016 dated 20-1-2014 BB 20-1-2015, medium sample, poured into an Oersoep tulip glass. Hazy golden color with some tiny debris floating around and a medium off-white head, leaving some lacing. Aroma is fruity of citrus, slight tart, peppery, brett, bubblegum. Soft bitter taste, bit sweetness. Taste has some marzipan indeed. Slight bretty funkiness in taste as well. Love these Bretty beers by Oersoep!
