Bottle from Gulating. Unclear golden body with a big, foamy white head. Strong and typical aroma for a Belgium wit with wheat, fruity yeast and coriander but a distinct oranges scent in addition. Flavor is also like a well made classic Wit added with oranges, oranges zest and some extra citric hops. Balanced body and nice aftertaste. A well made example of adding something nice to a classic style. Highly enjoyable and very refreshing.

500ml bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Plain white head slowly fading over a wheat misty yellow-golden body. Spotty lacing on the glass. Moderate smell of citrus, lightly spiced. The flavour was a fine mix of coriander and lemon on a backbone of wheat. Drying end. Nice with our fish dish. (Tromsø 30.12.2018).

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, coriander, wheat and hint of citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long orange, citrus, coriander and wheat finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. It pours a hazy golden colored body under a white head of moderate size. Coriander, orange zest and bready wheat in the aroma. Some piney, grassy hints. The flavor follows up the aroma, with a touch of bitterness. Medium body and a pleasant carbonation, semi-dry. Fruity, spiced finish. A straight forward and easy drinkable wit. 181229

0,5 flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme på lille julaften: lett uklar korngylden med ok skum. Appelsin- og citronskall, lys malt og koriander. Koriandersmaken blir tydeligere etter hvert som temperaturen i glasset stiger. Temperaturen min steg ikke nevneverdig. En ok witbier uten utpreget julestemning.
