On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of dark bread, notes of caramel and chocolate, fruits. Tastes slightly bitter with some sweetness. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Clear reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Distinct aroma of malts and caramel, a hint of basement, Christmas spices and salt of hartshorn. The flavour is also dominated by malts and caramel, but is not too sweet. Moderate hops. Light bodied for its strength. A bit one-dimensional.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, minerals, sour grass, soil, bark, hay, roasted grain, paper, dusty cellar. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, bark, hay, toast, dusty grain, paper, soil, roasted grain, cocoa. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh roasted mouthfeel. Boring.

Bottle, #1257, 1,5 years before bbd, shared with Inbreak and friends. Pours maroon, with a big creamy, off white head. Aroma is fruity yeast and caramel malts with bread and spicy cereals. Light to medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is malts with bread, caramels and burned sugar.
