Bottle. Dark, hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma is is hoppy like an IPA. The taste however, is unique. Sweetness is all through it but a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle from winooski beverages.
Dark amber pour, small beige head. Beautiful citrus aroma, light fruit and some night nutty malts. Flavour is more great hops and solid bready malts. Finish is a fantastic floral hoppiness, with a great bitter bite. Wow! Impressive!

Pours a slightly hazy, red-amber, with big, lasting cream head. Aroma is bread, citrus, some hops. Flavor follows. Smooth and crisp mouthfeel.

Oh my. Gorgeous, beautiful pint, pouring out a slightly opaque burnt umber with a frothy beige head and infinite lace. Woody nose leads to a citric, caramel-laced front end, dusted with cocoa and dripping with resin, grapefruit zest, pine, and grass, leading to an herbal, bitter finish underlined by a subtle, coffee-tinged sweetness. Hops cling to the palate long into the fade, as does a tea-like undercurrent. Not sure if I could distinguish this hoppy amber ale from a Red IPA, but who cares. It's amazing.
