Re-rated: New, fresh bottle. No butterscotch this time. Light and easy beer with a distinct Belgium flavor, sweet malt, hint of toffee, dry fruit and some typical Belgium yeast flavor. Still quite challenging to make something interesting in Belgium style at only 4,7% ABV. Ends up a bit weak and plain.
Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Unclear dark golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma is dominated by butterscotch. Flavor is rather unpleasant butter, popcorn and moderate bitterness. Medium body and butterscotch in aftertaste as well. This is not god at all. 4-3-4-3-6

Bottle 500ml @ gunnfryd
Pours hazy copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, berries, dried fruits and grain. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long grainy yeasty and fruity finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. An unclear, golden colored beer with a small, white head. The aroma is lightly yeasty, rather fruity and with a touch of grass. Lots of diacetyl. It’s light bodied, pleasantly carbonated and semi-dry, with some bitterness. Diacetyl, fruityness and some yeast in the flavor, lasting for a good while. Not very clean or pleasant this one. 170107

Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 15.11.16. Clear pale copper. Small and diminishing white head. No lacing. Hints of malt in weak aroma. Unpleasant taste of wet grass and boiled vegetables. Bitter malt and caramel in aftertaste. Too sweet. Absolutely no carbonation. A rare pourout. Meh-.
