Our light, hoppy pale ale. Brewed with wheat and barley, this naturally cloudy beer is seriously refreshing. Bursting with citrus fruit and exotic hops, crisp and easy drinking with a clean hoppy finish.

Cask at the CBH, Cambridge on 28th May 2021. Hazy amber with loose off-white foam and almost no lacing. Fruity and sweetly malty aroma. Sweet malts and berry fruits in-mouth with ripe strawberry, and banana. A sweet finish of maltiness, barleysugar and a few leafy hops. Smooth, almost watery mouthfeel and a light body.

Third, beer flight, cask ale at the brewhouse. Clear warm golden body, patchy surface, clingy lacing. Modest smell of grass and mid-sweet pale malts. Vague smell of grain and oily hops. Rounded, short-lived bitter finish. Accepted. (Cambridge 09.07.2019).

Opalescent pale golden colour, minimal creamy white head; aroma of floral, fruity, malty and caramel notes, taste is surprisingly hoppy with apple-like fruitiness and biscuity notes; refreshing

Handpull cask at the Cambridge Brewhouse. Light to mid-gold, clear with a touch of visible natural carbonation and a small film of uneven white head which leaves quite a lot of lacing. Aroma is reasonably grainy/malty without a lot of hop. Taste picks up a bit: there’s a strong hop bitterness alongside the sweet heady malt, and the back-of-the-tongue bitterness increases to the refreshing finish. Apricot and citrus peel along with biscuity malt in the aftertaste. Not perfect by any means but it’s got character and it certainly picks up halfway through the sip.
