On tap at Røør. A dark brown to black beer topped by a dense finger-thick dark beige head. Nice lacing. The aroma is quite roasted, tending towards burnt, with coffee, some chocolate and bonfire, and a faint spiced touch. It's semi-dry on the palate, full-bodied and smooth, very pleasant carbonation. The flavor has some dried fruit notes, else it's pretty much like the aroma. The spice touch tends more towards licorice than the generic spice touch known from the aroma, else it's the same nice dark malt stuff. Roasted, burnt, coffee and chocolate. Lasting mostly roasted finish. A pleasant one indeed. 190607

From tap at På kornet with OGJ and Nilsas 03.06.19. Ebony. Dense and persistent pale brown head and lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, milk and brittle. Similar taste, balanced with good bitterness. Some fruitiness and vanilla throughout,

Nice light brown fizzy-creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, toast, roasted grain, soil, anise, herbs, yeast, bark, dark malts, dark sugar, salty licorice. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, sour-ish roasted grain, minerals, soil, bark, anise, paper, sour grass, alcohol, toast, fruit stones, dusty licorice. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.
