Can @ home. Unclear, dark golden body under a fine white head. Aroma has malt, toffee and Belgium spicy yeast. Taste is sweet malt, mild toffee, Belgium yeast, some citric fruit, hint of banana and moderate bitterness. Medium body with a nice, fresh and slightly caramel/toffee aftertaste. A rather interesting take on the blond style that pushes the limits toward not so blond but still have a lot of the elements from blonde like yeast and fruit etc.

440 ml can, from Coop Extra Sauda. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden to brown colour, not very "blonde" to me. Small white head. Aroma of Belgian ale yeast and mild Christmas spices, hints of toffee, caramel, banana and dark dried fruits. Light bodied. The flavour is not too sweet, but has the same elements as the aroma. Low bitterness. Nice to drink.

Can. It pours a crystal clear deep golden colored body under a firm, two-finger off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is quite fruity, with a good dash of caramel. Some grassy, flowery and bready hints too. When cracking open the can, I thought it smelt like a witbier, but that feeling disappeared almost instantly, but there's a light touch of Belgian style yeast too. It's medium bodied and semi-dry, with a nice carbonation level. The flavor follows the same path as the aroma, mostly generic fruityness in the Belgian ale way, with caramel as a backdrop. There's some spiced notes present too, but I'm not able to say what kind of spice or spices it is. Quite long finish, with just a pinch of spicyness, else it's generic fruityness and caramel. Overall, a quite refreshing and tasteful grocery store strength Christmas beer, I sure prefer this over the industrial dark lagers that dominates that market segment. 231217

330ml bottle picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Fast diminishing white head, minimal lacing, clear amber-gold body. Spiced dried fruity nose. Moderate taste of yeasty fruitiness and brown malts, lightly spiced. Rounded mid-sweet fruity end. Accepted. (Tromsø 10.06.2019).
