Beer made with 100% locally grown, harvested and malted barley. Part of the malting process is to dry the grains over an open fire for 3 whole days, the way it has been done in Stjørdal for a very very long time. No hops at all! Yeast is harvested from local fruits and gives it own unique character. 100% local to Stjørdal!

Lys brun klar med lavt hvitt skum som forsvinner fort. Lukter surt bål og einebær. Middels fylde. Lett bitterhet, granbar, mye røkt bål og lett maltsødme. Kort

10-3-8-4-17 Can. Pours hazy dark yellow, with a small rocky head. Aroma is smoked malts with lots of umami notes, smoked meat and sausages, burned wood and dark liquorice. Tremendous! Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is smoked malts with umami notes, nuts and burned wood. Balanced and quaffable.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A misty orange coloured body, fast dissipating head, poor lacing. Powerful, distinct aroma of peated malts. Peated juniper flavours added by dried fruits. Prolonged ending. Pretty nice, better on the nose than to the taste buds, a bit unvaried. (Tromsø 17.03.2019).

03.01.2019, 0,44l can @ home:
Nice slightly bubbly-creamy shortlasting head, hazy. Aroma is sweet smoked, sap, campfire, minerals, caramel malts, smoked weeds, sour grass, bark, smoked ham, metal tank. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, smoked weeds, sour grass, campfire, sap, smoked ham, yeast, caramel malts, metal tank, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish smoked mouthfeel. Fair enough.
