Das Berliner Berg Pale Ale ist ein klassisches American Pale Ale. Durch ein traditionelles britisches Maischeverfahren und Maris Otter Malz erhält das Bier eine kupfergoldene Farbe und eine mittelstarken malzigen Körper. Der Malzkörper harmoniert dabei ideal mit der sanften Bitterkeit der edlen amerikanischen Aromahopfen, die Nuancen von Zitrus, Obst und Pinien enthalten. Natürlich ungefiltert.

Bottle. Clear dark orange with a decent white head. Aroma and taste of grapefruits, malts, oranges, pine and resin. Nice level of bitterness. Medium carbonation. Fruity and refreshing. OK.

Keg at Berliner Berg, 11/07/19. Clear golden blonde with a white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is citric sherbets, tangerine, light melon, perfume, toasted malts. Taste comprises tangerine, orange pith, grass, citric tinged straw, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, balanced hop bitterness in the close. Ok pale.

Hazy golden. Aroma is herbal hops some resin tart dried fruit. Taste is dry minerally with cloggy resin and slightly sticky finish. Not very complex or interestingly fruity. Ok.

Draft @ The Castle Nordbahn. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme est frais houblonné, petite impression d'agrumes, pin - fresh spruce - , petite effluve de mangue et léger tropical. Palais est léger, axé sur les malts, fin pils, crushed grains, amertume fine avec une petite pointe d'agrumes, qcq c-hops pour un effet classique US, amertume perdure sur la fin avec un renfort de fine sécheresse, feuillu et finement herbacé conjointement avec un caractère malté qui redécolle sur la fin.

33cl bottle; BB 25th Apr 19. Drank at home on 18th Oct 18, poured into a 22nd Internationals Berliner Bierfestival glass tankard to make the beer feel at home. Slight haze to the golden body, white crown on top. Hoppy nose and flavour, piney and fairly bitter in nature; malts very much in the background.
