We handrafted this cider with natural orchard apples from the Styrian hills and took them on the English Ale yeast ride of their life. Then we added a generous twist of American West Coast Chinook and Centennial hops, and bang, our Wild Tree Hoppy Cider was born. Top notes of bright citrus and tropical fruits are followed by a refreshing full taste and well balanced bitterness.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is gorgeous, freshly pressed apple. Bright yellowy gold and light. Interesting flavour that is touching many notes: peachy apple flavours, a little vodka. Not really getting any hops to be honest. Pleasing finish. Overall, delicious and interesting.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque pale golden with a short, fizzy head that dissipates in no time. Odd perfumy, fruity nose with just a faint hint of apples underneath. Medium body, appears sweet but it's not really, muddled apple notes where the hops keep interfering. Rather subdued tartness. Give me a straught cider anytime instead of this mess. 070224

Hazy pale yellow colour with thin head. Fresh and slightly tangy apple juice. There's only a light hoppiness. Not really adding any significant bitterness

Straw yellow with haze pour. Dry cider yeast nose, almost a touch of oak barrel, ripe apple, pear, citrus, spearmint. Surprisingly sweet but pleasantly so. Ripe fruits in the mouth, lovely, just sweet enough. The hops are barely detectable just as a counterbalance to the sweet. And in a nice sour, lingering finish. Very good.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, slightly floral nose with notes of apples, orange peel, pears, honey and grapefruit. Fruity taste with apples, orange, hay, honey, grapefruit peel and a balanced acidity in the finish. Light body, mainly dry. Tasty and refreshing. Not very bitter, but the hops come through as citric notes. Quite nice.

Very dense, fine, yellowish head, fast gone over faintly veiled metallic orange liquid. Dried, if originally sour apples; something herbal, as sage. Seriously sourish cider - difficult to say what acids - with a wry-ish, not quite bitter finish. Very dry. Some citrus notes, lemony. MF has just a touch of (hop)oil, slick; tittilating, invisble carbonation. Refreshing. Quite original, nice concoction!

Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. fajnie i mocno nachmielone, kwasso oj kwasno, fajny profilek kwasnych antonowek, papierowek po prostu przypomnial mi sie smak z dziecinstwa, zlociste z lekka metnoscia, mineralne, po prostu smaczny cydr made in Austria.
