In 1880 Henry Weston first started crafting cider from the bittersweet apples grown on his farm in Much Marcle, Herefordshire.

Over many years he refined the art of Herefordshire cider making. Today, Henry Weston Vintage Cider is crafted only from apples grown in a single year’s harvest in the three counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire & Worcestershire. The cider is then slowly matured in aged oak vats to deliver a smooth and rounded cider, with exceptional character.

Bottiglia.

Bottle consumed a few weeks ago. Sweet and quite tart with that classic woody Oak note from Weston's. A little boozy. It didn't taste that fresh. I wasn't mightily impressed, I think I'm getting bored of their ciders as they are all very similar. Its ok though.

An unexpected gift from Rory in Antigua, thank you sir! Crystal clear bright golden color, fizzy. Aroma of dusty overripe pear flesh and skin. Taste is lightly tart pear, very fruity, dry finish. Very tasty.

Bottle, that is entirely different to the one in the pic on here. Asda. As Weston’s Slowly Aged Perry. Ticked off all the styles now, barring sake, prior to packing up on this now ropey website. Smells and tastes pretty much like any other Weston’s product. Sweet and fruity, with a hint of alcoholism, albeit reigned in compared to something like Vintage Cider. Drinks like pop and gets you fucked. Never been a real perry.

Prost!

2018.03.30 Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with short lived head. Sweet and dry pear peel, lots of orchard wood, touch of vanilla, raw almonds, parallel tastes to ginger, Crodino (Italian soft drink), moldy tree bark. Quite funky and dry. I love how this perry doesn’t taste like gummy bears, like some do. Moderate sweet and bitter, medium body and very soft carbonation. 7/3/7/3/16 / 2019.04.13 Bottle at Murphy’s. Clear amber no head. Sweet pear, pear peels, light sugary like stoved pears. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. 7/3/7/3/15
