Draft at the brewery. A rich and pleasurable ale with the slight sweetness that you would expect. Was there some jaminess coming through? Anyway, ok if somewhat eccentric.

On tap at Fuggles Beer Cafe Tonbridge. Red ruby colour lasting beige head. Malty saison apparently. Some good malty fruit flavours. Some red jammy fruits. Some banana ester. Light hops on finish. Ok if weird. Noce jammy fruit.

Tap@Affinity Tasting Room, Bermondsey, London - Dark Amber to brown colour with small off white head. Fruity and hoppy with some nice citrusy orange notes, some light dried fruit, yeasty touch, light to medium body, with some nice spices into the close.

Keg at the brewery. A clear reddy amber coloured pour with a a sticky beige head. Aroma is liquorice, woody, dried fried, dried grains. Flavour is composed of dried fruit, liquorice, woody fruit, star anise. Palate is dry highish prickly carbonation.. Pretty interesting.

Keg at the brewery. Pours deep amber-brown with a creamy, off-white head. Some dark berries in the nose, a little saison yeast, lightly toasted malts. Medium sweet flavour with some brown bread, cranberries, fruit leather, mellow yeast expression. Low bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, with more ripening berries, Belgian yeast, lightly toasted brown bread. Good stuff.

Keg at the brewery. Almost clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts nice light tangy toffee. Tangy ripe orange and mild spice. Modest liquorice before the fruity finish. Nicely citric and floral, the liquorice adds dimension.

Keg at Affinity. It pours clear brown with a thick beige head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, candied cherry, cola, caramel, orange peel and fruit cake. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, cola, caramel, fruit cake, oily, toasted brown sugars, raisin, touch of aniseed and earth with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough.
