Bottle @ Cafe Pardaf. Black body with almost no head. Aroma and taste of dark malt, coffee, wood and dark chocolate. Nice balanced bitterness and surprisingly mild alcohol considering the hi ABV. All over smooth and nice.

Bottle, at Cafe Pardaf. Sweet, full bodied, warming, delicious. Chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Brown sugar, some booze and with a good bitterness. Delicious indeed. 848417 251108

Prairie delivers high level imperial stouts, proud of them too. The 12 oz bottle I have came from a Total Wine in Ft. Worth, acquired recently. Opening up tonight to share with the prodigal son. I'm drinking out of a shaker glass, the pour is brown-black with a nonexistent head. I smell lightly coffee but heavy with dark chocolate and grain. The taste, oh yes, this is all right. Bakers chocolate, bourbon, a little heat, bread, caramel, some berry effect, coffee and fudge. Nice, of course, in one of my favorite styles.

Bottle. A- Roasty, earthy, cocoa, mild coffee. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal brown head. T- Earthy, mild bitterness, cocoa, mild espresso. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The barrel influence nor the coffee is as strong as I expected. A general earthy roasted flavor is present. This was good but not on par with what I expected from a Prairie Imperial Stout.
