Refrigerated 12 oz. squat brown bottle poured into a glass. Black with small light brown head. Aroma is rich coffee, thick body, medium carbonation, some floats ( which may be coffee) and little lacing. Taste is intense coffee, chocolate, bourbon, and roasted malt.

Pitch black pour with a short-lived dark tan head. Notes of coffee, cacao nibs, tons of bourbon, vanilla, sharp boozee, dark chocolate. Solid stuff, just a little too boozy.

Lordy, what a monster. A flood of chocolate, raisin, and caramel leads to a sweet, fusgy middle, then finishes with a wave of bourbon and Hershey syrup. Coffee notes are muted, and the sweetness gets to be a bit much, but a 14% beer this easy to drink is damn near a miracle.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Nose is loaded with intense coffee, chocolate, and big bourbon barrels. Flavour is rich and decadent, with loads of bourbon upfront, followed by deep chocolate, and a little vanilla. Very bourbony, with lots of silky chocolate and coffee. Thick, robust on the palate, yet never too heavy or harsh. Fantastic.
