Poured from 750mL bottle (2020 harvest). Hazy gold with small white head. Dry, touch of manure, apple skin, a decent barnyard funk, quite decent overall.

750ml @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy straw with a weak white head. Aroma: bugs, fermented apples, some tannins and manure. Taste: along the same lines, very dry and astringent, very tannic, lots of manure. Overall: ok.

2020 version. 750mL bottle, pours a hazy bright golden with a medium white head. Nose is full of barnyard funk, champagne-like effervescence, and some musty crisp apple skins. Flavour is gently tart, with leather, barnyard funk, musty apple skins, and a touch of champagne. The usual above-average carbonation, with a very nice funkiness. Very good.

Medium gold body and no foam, very soft carbonation, glistening like one of those amber snow globes from the 70's. Deep sweet apple on the nose, casual and dessert like, slightly earthy, very subdued. Flavour is intense vinegar and burlap, spiced vegetables, celery. Full with lingering sweetness from wild apples. Certainly offbeat in terms of cider profiles but quite enjoyable.
