Whiskey Hazelnut Porter- Collaboration with Earnest Ice Cream
It’s our birthday! North Point is officially a year old and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than teaming up with our friends at Earnest Ice Cream (@earnesticecream) to make an indulgent and silky porter. Brewed with a traditional porter base and finished on 40kg of whiskey soaked hazelnuts, this beer balances dark, malty bitterness with warm caramel flavours and hints of nuttiness.

Murky brown body and little foam, good biscuit on the nose but no whiskey to speak of. Flavour is nice hazelnut biscuit, soft brown sugar, dry but again no whiskey. I wanted whiskey. Where is my whiskey?
