Duft av malt og eik. Fin klar gyllen farge. Lite skum, tynn hinne som forsvinner. Frisk smak av malt med en anelse eikesmak.

Bottle at Bryggerikaia, Bod. Has a golden straw colour with a medium, off-white head. Aroma of hay, saaz and some sweet corn, citrus and something metallic. More hops in the flavour along with hay, grass and ends a little dry. Slick mouth feel, and has a medium bitterness. A decent Czech pilsner with a good dose of bitterness. A little thin taste.

As long as you don’t go into this expecting anything magical then you’ll do alright. It’s not going to knock your socks off but nor is it the standard rubbish, watery dribble you might expect from such a popular brand. It’s a decent, refreshing lager.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, caramel malts, hay, worth, cereal, hints of nuts and grassy. Taste is slightly sweet, caramel malts, nuts, hay, cereal, grain, grass. Medium bitterness, slightly dry grainy mouthfeel. Boring, too sweet and grainy.

Bottle 500 ml. Pours clear yellow with white head. Malty flavor and aroma. Used to be way better. Usually causes headaches the day after.

Draft - I thought this was a quite nice and balanced Czech pils - clean, medium sweet malt profile - fairly soft texture, but crisp, dry flavor on the tail end - perhaps not the level of grassy hop flavor and snappy finish many of the better examples display, but this is nice.

Bottle 33cl. Color is clear golden, vanilla-white foam settles quickly, some lacing. Aroma is malty bread, dust and minerals. Hint of citrus. Taste is kind of artificially malty, bitter hoppy, some over cooked vegetables and somewhat watery. Ends watery. Medium to high carbo, medium body. On tap this is great, on bottle it doesn’t hold up very good.
