A deep dark stout with a thick frothy creamy brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, caramel, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, vanilla, nuts, nutella, a bit of Pineau notes, beautiful. On tap at Craft Beer Lab.

Smell-weak to medium, cofee, malt, dark chocolate, some roast. Foam- malt, cofee, chocolate, caramel, alcohol, Moka, roast, nice. Head is tiny, very dark brown color. Appearance- can, simple, somewhat nice, but not in a way to give a bonus. From - snifter Taste - malt, chocolate, roast, alcohol, caramel, Moka, sweet. Very sweet, and cofee-ish stout, tasty. This brewery knows how to make them. Loads of coffee notes. Love sweet beers.

Can. Diesel oil black, no real head to speak of. Strong dessert node, chocolate, cocoa and nuts, some mild roasted coffee. Lovely. Later on some more nuts come through. Really sweet start - milk chocolate, some fruity character, dry fruits. Lighter body, silky feel. Much too sweet to finish it by yourself. No alcohol feel to it though, but way to cloying.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A: pecan / 20C). Can 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown - Canned on 18.01.2020). AROMA: medium-high artificial-like aroma resembling chocolate cake. medium-low vinous background, slight moulasses and chocolate. slight nuttiness. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. no head and no retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial high chocolate-like notes, sweet coffee-and milk, chocolate cake, slight moulasses, faint nuts and medium-high vinous-like. low bitterness. unbalanced. finishes overly sweet. PALATE: full body and oily with a slight cloying aspect. very low to no carbonation. OVERALL: an unbalanced flavored imperial stout with a muted base beer.
