Bottle, thx Ryan! Murky pale brown body, off-white head. Lean aroma, banana, light yeasty-cabbage notes. Lean taste, banana, maltiness,, tomato, cabbage, caramel, lean fishy finish, some warmth. Weird.

Trüb bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, fruchtig mit reifer Banane, Karamell und Anklängen an Pflaumen, relativ wenig Hefe. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Deep amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma is banana bread, caramel and trash bin. Taste is moderate sweet, lightly tart, full of fruity esters. Faintly acidic at the finish, which stays lightly sweet, but with a helping of spice. Full, chewy body with moderate carbonation. Odd, and unusual for the style, but has some off-notes. Not working for me.

First poured without the yeast, a beautiful clear deep amber colour, when the yeast is poured, the colour stays the same obviously, but cloudy. The head is off white, frothy, with a small layer that lasts long. Aroma's: banana, spices (not so much clove however). Retronasal: banana, wheat-fruity, sweet. Flavour is rather sweet light bitterness and spices. Medium bodied. Fairly high carbonation. Flavour lingers.

Pours mid to dark amber, quite hazy but actually not too much for a weissbier. Mid to big sized head, slightly off-white, shows good enough retention and not much lacing. Not so much intensity in the aroma: the slightest dough like base, bubblegum, rather vivid fruitiness (melon and orange most noticeable), slighest hint of spcininess. All among a vaguely warming feel. A bit more freshness/intensity in taste. notes as per aroma, with quite vivid fruitiness and a bit more spiciness (clove) than the smell suggested. A quite interesting finish: pretty dry per style (relatively so in general terms), with a nice palate cleansing feel. Medium body, with medium to high carbonation (probably lighter than style average in carbonation), hides the abv very well and feels very drinkable. Overall a nice weizenbock

500ml bottle. Cloudy, dark amber colour with small, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of banana, baked banana, dark honey, a touch of wafer, vanilla. Taste is sweet-ish, alcoholic, malty and yeasty fruity, hints of banana, baked banana, raisin, baked apple, a touch of honey, wafer and vanilla, tart-ish, fruit acidic, minimally citric counterpart; lingering, sweet-ish, minimally warming, alcoholic finish with light, nutty overtones. Creamy texture, smooth and super-soft, slightly cloying palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Fairly complex, fruity but hardly ever spicy, a bit boozy, alleviative tart-ish aspects, excellent creamy mouthfeel - very interesting.

Dunkler Weizendoppelbock mit 8,0 % Alkoholgehalt: 8.0 % und 19.3 % Stammwürze. Ordentliche Portion Malz, ganz minimal strohig.
