It's an easy matter to get caught up in our maelstrom of hoppiness, less easy to put it down. Kinn's Malstraum is a refreshing, zesty, cloudy amber APA with a tropical, fruity, hoppy aroma and crisp white foam. Lightly malted, but with a touch of bitters for aftertaste and drinkability. We selected Zeus, Cascade, Chinook, Simcoe and Citra for our hop list. Though principally intended to stand alone, Malstraum pairs well with spicy fare and barbecue dishes.

Orange hazy with a large white head. A hoppy, tropical fruit and forest aroma. Light bitter, some sweetness with a fruity, citrus and hops finish.

Bottled (thanks Mandells!). Golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some citrusy and mild sweet malty tones. Flavour is bready, biscuity and toffeeish with some fruity, citrusy and mild pine and grass to it.

Bottle. The colour is hazy orange and an off-white head. Aroma of pinapple, mango, grapefruit, grass and hop pellets. Flavour of grass, grapefruit, peaches and some pine. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a soft bitterness. Fruity and nice.

Tap tap house. Clear golden, golden fluffy head. Citrus, gooseberry nose. Medium light fluffy body, peach chreme, berry (Johannisbeeren notes) bready fruity finish.
