Can. Opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft mellow dark malts, creamy sweetness. Chocolate mousse. Plenty of Marzipan. Loud and clear without ever being cloying. Yeah, mild shortbread on the back end. If you are looking for it. Perhaps the power of suggestion. No feckin doubt about the marzipan though. None whatsoever. And it works so well with the sweet soft choccy malts. Solid pastry that sucks you in. Well, if have a sweet tooth.

330ml can, kindly shared by Finn. Almost black in the glass, dissipating fawn-coloured head, scattered lacing. Sweet smell of chocolate and nutshell. Quite sweet and dry taste character of hazelnuts, vanilla chocolate, and almond. Mouthfilling finish of semi-dry and sweet nutty chocolate. Decent sipper qualities. (Tromsø 16.10.2021).

Delt med Rune på Nerstranda. Svart. Lavt tett mokkafarget skum. Aroma av knekk. Smaken marsipan (?), sherry & creme brulee.

From a 330ml can on 1/6/2021. Pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. The nose is chocolatey with a light marzipan background. It's rinse and repeat flavour wise - big dollops of sweet milk chocolate, along with some caramel fudge notes, with the marizpan even more pronounced. The mouthfeel is syrupy, the carbonation moderate. Straight forward but enjoyable.

Pours very dark brown to black, no real head. Scent is marzipan indeed, providing a 'fresh' touch over the heavy sweet, somewhat chocolaty base. Taste is medium full to full, sweet, marzpan, almond, sticky, chocolate, mild alcohol. body is medium (only) , carbonation is medium. better than expected, provided how much I dislike almonds and marzipan.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Wingman. A hazed deep brown reddy coloured pour with a fine dark tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, brown sugars toasted marshmallow, spicy marzipan, oily, jammy fruit, hint of cinnamon. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, brown sugars, marshmallow, brandy snap sugars, cinnamon, jammy. . Palate is medium sweet, sticky lowish carbonation.

Panda at home, thanks to 'name withheld', 23/05/21. Black with a tan cap that soon thins to spotting. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate, marzipan, nutty, toffee, sugars. Taste comprises chocolate melt, nutty twang, brown sugars, marzipan, light roast, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent pastry number ... holds together well without getting super sweet.

KYGG 040421. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is marzipan, chocolate. Flavor is marzipan, chocolate, roasted malt, nuts, vanilla, spices. Nice beer.
