A multigrain Imperial Baltic Porter inspired by cheesecake - brewed with lemon zest, lactose, and vanilla.
Taste: Sweet pie crust and rich caramelised sugars join with flavours of fresh vanilla cream, coating the mouth before lashings of sweet baked lemon zest roll across the tongue. Rich dark fruits mingle with a pleasant biscuity malt character, and a creamy baked graham cracker-oat finish lingers, inviting you to just one more slice.
Appearance: Dark black with a brown head.
Nose: Freshly baked graham crackers and baked lemon come enticingly from the glass, with sweet toasted malt and freshly brewed coffee joining in, transporting you to your favourite bakery.

Thuis uit een flesje. Dit bier omdat het buiten eerder herfstig is dan zomer. Maar.....de eerste slokken doen denken aan de goede ijssalons die dit mooie dorp rijk is. Zwarte kleur, lichtbruin schuim. Aroma nog licht, maar volle smaak van chocoladeijs, vanille, room. Zoet. Maar hartverwarmend. Heerlijke nasmaak.

Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, one finger frothy brown head, medium lasting. Good retention, some lacing on the glass. Very nice on the nose, cocoa, vanilla, coffee. Hints of lemon. Liquid cheesecake. Full body, soft to medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, creamy, soft and chewy. Very nice. Sweet taste with subtle fruity sour notes in the background. Aroma of cocoa, caramel, vanilla and chocolate. Latte, zesty, some bready notes. Molasses, sticky. Subtle roastiness. Lingering alcohol, nicely warming. Long lasting finish, sweet, dry and sticky. Quite enjoyable. Liquid cheesecake, that's what it is. Delicious.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep black with reddish hints, head was tan. Aroma is fruity, zesty, citrus, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is zesty fruit, chocolate, vanilla, Crème brûlée, roasted malts, alcohol heat.

Bottle. NIce tan brown head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, lactose sugar, vanilla, lemon, chocolate, coffee and hops. Nice lemon roasty sweet finish.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. An oily brown black coloured pour with a lasting whispy dark tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, perfume, creme brulee, custard, strawberry jam, . Flavour is composed of rich cakey malts, brown sugars, brandy snap sugars, jammy fruits, perfume, warming alcohol. Palate is sticky sweet, rounded, creamy, oily, moderate carbonation.

Bottle at a tasting with the RB boys. Lots of vanilla, lots of milky puddingy feeling. Full body, lots of sweetness. Kinda off balance, lacks a bit of counterpoint to the high sweetness. Light roasty coffeeish maltines. Pretty successful in evoking a cheesecake feeling. Feels off balance though, not very easy drinking. Very rich and intense, but lacks nuance.

Bottle at tasting. Malty aroma and taste, marshmallow, chocolate, vanilla, all artificial, light to medium sweet, light bitter. Medium to full body, malty chocolate, marshmallow bitter sweet finish. Ok.
