Can from Goblet ZG, fridge-aged since the summer. Very dark brown body, no head. Chocolatey aroma, lean, dry. The taste is a mess... chocolatey, vague vanilla and these weird fishy notes. Either vanilla or lactose went to hell, or both. Lightly creamy sweetish body going into some prickly carbonation. Clearly not meant for aging, which is kinda weird for the style but there you go. Could 2 months past BB date kill a 9.5% imperial stout? Apparently so. Will do my best to rerate it at some point, realistically this is around 3.0.

0.44 l can thanks to Marko, shared with him. Dark brown, small head. Aroma is malty, toasty, dried fruit, chilli peppers, tart fruit. Flavour is very weird and unpleasant, there are hints of vanilla and sugar, but it's also tart, rotten vegetables, harsh burnt aroma at the same time, hints of chocolate in the back. Light body, quite a soft texture, soft carbonation, light finish. Too bad.

Svart farge med beige skum. Lukter sjokolade og fløte. Mild sjokolade i smak. Søt. Lys karamell.
