Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A - adapted: no alcohol). Can 33 cl - Batch VF2683 (BBF 30/03/23). AROMA: medium-high floral hop aroma with some tangerine. medium-low neutral and slightly sweet background. faint oxidized hops (dried grass). APPEARANCE: pale yellow color and clear. medium-low white head with average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low hop flavour with floral and tangerine notes. neutral medium-low to low slightly-sweet background. medium to medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium low carbonation. OVERALL: an interesting no-alcoholic IPA with ok hop notes.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a white head. Farty, unclean hop aroma - a wee hint of citrus underneath. Light body, sweet fruitiness. Unclean, puke note blending in with a perfumy hoppiness. Some late bitterness. No joy. 010922

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Cork & Cask online. Pours clear, pale yellow with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with nice, clean pine character, pale bread, semi-ripe lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, further pale malts, pine, pithy citrus, ripe lemon. Quite drinkable.

Can from Cork & Cask. Clear pale golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon and mint. Flavour of herbs and melon rind. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Another delicious alcohol free beer from Brulo. It showcases the Centennial hop really well.

Pours a clear blonde, medium sized, medium-low stability white head. Scent is sharp, green hoppyness. not as aromatic as hoped for a single hop. dry grainy base, cereal like. Taste is bitter, green dank hoparoma. Medium body, medium carbo. Gentle finish, quite creamy ( NA style underfermented, wort-like) in combo with the dankyness. Decent. This one worked the least of all 3 sampled ( Centennial / Idaho 7 / Sabro ) for me due to the low level of aroma's. I personally prefer the (mild) aroma here over the Sabro, but the Idaho was the winner here ( intenser aroma + more to my liking) .
lovely concept as now you can actually do a vertical by yourself, and don't have to worry about the alcohol. I hope to see more stuff like this happening !
