Bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours clear amber with small off white head. Aroma is very malty with caramel, biscuit, earthiness, some citrus and herbs from the hops. Taste as per aroma, long bitter finish with malt and zest tones. Light to medium bodied and slight chewiness. An interesting one, quite full for the strength with heavy malt flavours and not as sessionable as your average 3.6% bitter. Some good hopping in the finish.

Bottle picked up at the brewery. Clear pale amber. Decent bright white foam. Nutty and husky malt. Whiff of sea spray. Light fruity hop leaf. Bit of a stewed tea leaf thing. Taste is nutty sweet up front with a hefty tea leaf bitterness. Decent body and full flavoured. Ever so slightly astringent on the finish.
