500mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a large white head. Nose is fairly yeasty, with lots of earthy and citrus hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with yeasty earthy hops upfront, along with citrus and biscuity malt. Quite fruity and strong. Very good.

Flaske 0.5L @djoeye. Klar gylden med hvit skum. sitrus (lemongress). Humle, bitter øl føles litt mot ipa, alkoholen er med på en god måte.

From a 500ml bottle on 28/9/2013. Pours a clear deep golden with a fine, smallish white head. The aroma is very pleasant - very floral and passionfruity. Taking a sip, this is all abut the Nelson Sauvin hops, with white grapes, grapefruit and passionfruit all there is spades. There’s not a lot of malt to report. the bitterness is big, dry and lingering. I think this incorrectly described as an IPA - it’s got loads of hops but it’s otherwise not typical of the style. The body is light to medium and the carbonation lively. The best way I can describe this is that it like a Knappstein Reserve Lager (an excellent beer in its own right) on steroids. A very fine beer.

Bottle, 8C. Golden amber with an inch of white head that fades quite quickly. Aroma of grass clippings, gooseberries, honeydew melon, lime leaf. Lowish carbonation. So fruity, but not all that sweet. There’s really not much going on in the malt department, so much so it’s light-bodied verging on watery. Bitterness is moderate but has nothing to cut through. A little pine or menthol creeps in. Doesn’t really attempt to do a lot of things that I like but does what it does very well indeed.
