440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, light grassy hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a rich, smooth, roasty, light grassy, piney, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A super beer, but more of a black IPA than a traditional Porter.

12-01-22 // well hopped roast forward porter. US citrus hop notes battling a dark intense roasty malt body. Works well.

440ml can from Premier Hop, Pudsey, W.Yorkshire. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, dark chocolate, molasses, coffee taste/aroma. Bitter, ashy, burnt, well made but a little too bitter for me.

Appearance is nearly black, with a 1-2 finger foamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, toasty malt, brown bread, coffee hints, bit of caramel. Taste is caramel, chocolate, coffee, biscuity malt, chocolate sauce, trace of liquorice, toffee, bit of plum in the finish. Hop bitterness runs through, full mouthfeel. Good stuff.

440ml can - Pours a very dark brown almost black colour with an average sized beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, burnt toast, cocoa powder and light charred woody notes. A moderately sweet and moderately bitter taste, roasted sweet malts, dark chocolate, light molasses flavours with some resiny pine and dark berries in a drying finish. Nice.
