Clear amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and fruity notes. Sweet flavor with caramel, toasted malt, fruits and mild hoppy notes leading it to at mild bitter finish.

Cask at blue blazer edinburgh ... Deep copper ... strong slightly sweet malty nose ... young fresh green wood ... nice toffee fruits ... little sweet hoppyness... good mouth feel.

Dark amber color, small off-white head. Nutty hops and dried fruits in the nose. There is also woody or cardboardish hints. A bit caramelly, nutty hoppy, toasted malty ESB. Finish is short with hints of cognac or punsch. Caramelly, quite weak aftertaste.

Cask, Highbury Vaults, Bristol. Murky bronze colour, small off white head. Malty, caramel aroma. An above average bitter.

Bottle. Clear orange to dark red body with a small disappearing beige head. Aroma is sweet malt and caramel. Flavor is malt, caramel and hops. Quite ordinary bitter, but harmonic and well made.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A brownish beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel, hops, malts and some mild sweetness. Flavour is grassy, caramelly and slightly of vegetables. Lovely aroma, but flavour was a slight disappointment.

(50 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg) Labeled 4.7% ABV. Clear dark copper color, small tan head. Sweet caramel, licorice, fresh scent. Sweet, grassy and caramel malty taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.

amber colour, tiny head. Nose: coffee and caramel. Very malty and fruity flavour, coffee and caramel, slightly hoppy. There is a certain smokiness to feel. Dry finish.
