From tap @ Brouwcafe. Not sure of the version, but it probably wasn’t in a cask so I’ll rate it here. Chestnut brown with reddish hue. Medium white head. Light roasted malts, honey, berries, some cherry. Medium sweet. Medium-light bodied with light carbonation.

Half pint shared with Finn, cask by handpump at NWAF ’13. Bright amber coloured body, fragile lacing to the glassware. Resinous hops to the nose. Juicy malt taste character supported by caramel and bitter berries towards the ending.

Cask at the Bishop on the Bridge, Winchester. Copper in colour with a thin cream head; orchard fruit aroma; sweet fruity malt flavour with a rather earthy base; and a dry but sticky finish. OK, but no real evidence of blackberries in the brew.
