500 ml bottle into pint glass, 2FJM bottle code. Pours slightly hazy cloudy orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of sweet ginger, cracker, bread, light honey, light pear/apple, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of ginger, pale malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of big sweet ginger, cracker, bread, light honey, light pear/apple, light pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of sweet ginger, cracker, bread, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of ginger, pale malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast ester flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Some noticeable ginger heat builds up on the finish through the glass, but never gets too significant. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth and lightly creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a very good spiced English pale ale style. All around good robustness and balance of ginger, pale malt, earthy hops, and light fruity yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Gold colour, clear, rocky head that does not stay long. Aroma is ginger and some toffee. Medium sweetness, no bitterness, burns throat on finish, but it’s ok. Taste reminds of soft drinks or artificially flavoured beers - but I like it, although it doesn’t taste like a beer.

Bottle: Poured a clear light amber color ale with a medium size off-white foamy head with medium retention and light lacing notes. Aroma of spicy ginger notes with light dry cereal notes is OK. Taste is actually quite interesting with nice ginger roots notes with light spicy finish. Body is light with good carbonation. I understand this is not a great beer but I find it quite enjoyable when you are in the mood for a highly drinkable spicy drink.

Poured into a teku glass showing dark translucent brown, well filtered and practically transparent. The nose is practically the same as ginger ale. The palate is cloying - if not for it being chilled so much that it numbs my tongue a bit.
