Hooky is a subtly balanced, amber bitter, hoppy to the nose, malty on the palate - the classic session beer, eminently drinkable. Cheers!

Pours amber into an English pint. Pancake head with good retention leaves slight sheets as it recedes. Caramel and hop aromas. Smooth caramel upfront turning thin and bitter in the lasting finish.

Bottled. Deep golden colour with mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is nectar, mild honey, some wood and grass along with herbal notes. Flavour is wooden, flowery hoppy, some grass as well as some mild nutty notes as well. Easy to drink and quite pleasant for being only 3.6%.

Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland OR. Copper amber color with a minimal white head. Nice fruity esters over lightly roasted caramel. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is apple, a little spice, and a light caramel undertone. Finish is fairly balanced. Gets firmly bitter as consumption continues. Definitely a session ale. Goes down like there’s no end to it, but there is.
