We had to make a big deal of our 100th brew, which came out about a year after we opened up in our converted old Luma light bulb factory. During our first year, along with brewing our flagship beers (Kellerbier, Amber and Jack), we have found time to design and brew over a dozen specials. So far, there’s been…. dark and light saisons, schwarzbier, witbiers, imperial stout, imperial brown ale, Belgian bruin and more, but you know what? We hadn’t yet brewed an IPA – one of the most classic beer styles out there. This had to be rectified, and we hope you like what we’ve added to the big, wide world
of IPAs.
100W, a name that pays tribute to light bulb lingo, is super pale and unfiltered. The first thing that hits you is the nose of grapefruit and lemon zest. On the palate, fruits come forward – orange, gooseberry and blueberry notes. The malt sweetness in the front of the mouth gives way to a growing, snappy, lingering bitterness, that itself tails off into a dry finish and a thirst for more.
We thought this was such a successful 100th brew that we’ve kept brewing this delicious recipe.

Bottle. An unclear orange colored beer with a small white head. The aroma is citrusy, orange and grapefruit, with pale malts, white bread and pine cones and a touch of generic tropical fruit. It's medium to full bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dry, with a decent bitterness. Piney, citrusy flavor with some tropical fruit, grass and floral hints. Quite peachy. Some pale malts. Long dry, fruity and bitter finish. Better fresh i guess. Decent. 211223

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear golden with a slightly lacing, white head. Subtle peachy aroma. Medium body, slightly sweet fruitiness with great, tropical hop accents. Bitterness is almost absent thought, which is a little weird considering they call it a West Coast IPA. 031220

Flaska från Systembolaget. Ljust gyllengul vätska med vitt skum. Sädig och lätt tvålig doft. Tvåligheten återkommer i smaken. Medelfyllig munkänsla med eldighet.

Bottle at home in the garden, picked up in Stockholm, 20th September 19. Pours a straw colour almost clear. Aroma is pine, floral and citrus. Taste is bitter, some aromatic notes, lemon, grapefruit and pine. It’s a really solid beer actually, good IPA, I could drink plenty of this.

opalescent pale yellow colour, medium sized dense white head, which lasts for a few minutes; aroma of pineapple, mango, some grapefruit, biscuity and celery notes; taste has basically the same notes with denfinite hoppy bitterness; good one, though has some slightly disturbing rotten notes in its taste

(Bottle) Golden amber colour, hazy, with frothy white head. Hoppy nose with grapefruit, orange, pineapple, passion-fruit, mango, some honey and pine needles. Hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, pineapple, passion-fruit, pine needles, orange peel, mango, honey and a generous citric, piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, with a good hop profile. Nice one.
