Cask halfpint, as Bexley Anchor Bay IPA, at The Dog & Bell, Deptford. Deep golden to orange colour, white head. Served a bit too warm, even for a cask ale. Malty aroma. Distinctly bitter flavour, some malts, a hint of fruit.

From cask at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, London, at their monthly evening with the Deptford Jazz Collective Tuesday 05.04.22. Clear golden straw colour. Some off-white head and lacing. Solid aroma and taste of pale malt, bitter Sevilla marmalade, flowers, grapefruit and fresh pine shoots. Bitterness is lingering on. An old-fashioned IPA and not a tropical fruit juice substitute.

Keg at Lock & Horn, Bromley. Aroma is fruity and tangy with a hint of resin. Hazy-opaque amber gold. Foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter with a fruity sweet citrus sour streak. Underlying malts. Marmalade. Light bodied. Slick if thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable marmalade-seque SIPA.
