Sea buckthorn, or Seaberry, grows in abundance on the Cornish coast, revelling in the clean, salt-flecked air. This reinvention of a classic saison is brewed with berries from cultivator Cornish Seaberry.
Complex yet balanced, our Seaberry Saison layers juicy fresh citrus fruits with a hint of sour, a punch of pepper, and the untameable appeal of farmhouse yeast.
Hops: Goldings, UK Cascade & Harlequin
Malt: Pale, Cara & Wheat
Yeast: Belle Saison

440ml can. Gluten Free. Orangey golden amber colour, bubbly white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of seaberry, yeast. Taste is tangy, tart, salty, seaberry, fruity, yeasty with some sourness. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, lightly carbonated, drying salty seaberry finish. Quite drinkable.

440ml can from Eden Project gift shop, Cornwall. Pours a misty golden amber, large white frothy head. Aroma of mild seabuckthorn, saison yeast. Taste presents pleasant fruity seabuckthorn working nicely with the saison yeast, some tart moments. Seabuckthorn's not the most likeable of fruits, but it works well here.

440ml can, online from Red Elephant, Truro. Pours lightly hazed orange with a white head. Aroma: tart, sour berries, hints of funk. Taste: moderate tart, clean, light funk, sour berries. Thankfully the sea buckthorn is very mild here. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation.
