Bottle @ Paris. Pours black with a small brown head, lacings. Aroma of malt, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, nuts. Flavor is sweet, malt, chocolate, nuts. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet finish. 220723

Creamy lightbrown good fully lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Can thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - deep brown and fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate, toffee and burnt notes (almost praline). Taste - burnt toffee and nuts, definitely praline. Dark chocolate. Palate - medium bodied, lightly creamy then roasty middle and finish. Overall - quite nice.

Can thanks to cgarvieuk. Pours just-clear dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate and hazelnut. Taste is more of the same. Light roast note. Sweet finish.

440ml can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, roasty, dry, sweet chocolate, subtle hazelnut, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Like most stouts in Asia it was served way too cold at just 4 degrees celsius. How I wish these bars would have a stout fridge with much warmer temperatures and they would save some money too! The flavours only started to come through when the beer warmed up.

Can at home... Dark black... Thick tan head. Soft sweet nutty chocolate roast malts nose. Over fizzy.. Light woody bitter.. Light herbal edge.. Dusty nutty malts
