Brilliant white tight head stayed on a hazy lemon coloured still body. Zesty aroma with sherbet. Medium to full bodied, pillowy, soft & smooth on the tongue with a dry clean back. Sweet citrus, hoppy, pithy, grapefruit & slightly earthy tastes with long bitter finish. Tremendous!

Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and reasonably smooth but has a good minerally crisp back end. Smooth light malts, deliver a nice light creamy sweetness. I do think Kernel seem to have cut back slightly on the malts, they don't seem as luxurious a base as they used to be. A slightly pithy smooth orange with a little orange peel, trace of Summit lemon if you are looking for it. Modest Galaxy bitterness, I mean modest by Galaxy standards, it's only forearm smashed you instead of picked you up and body slammed you. Unfortunately no Galaxy fruit salad accompanying the bitterness. Touch of sweeter citrus on the back end but the light finish still leaves a notably bitter linger. Please bring back the old malt bill guys!

Bottle in the garden, 14th June 2020. Pours off clear, light golden. Aroma is grapefruit and pith, lemon. Taste is dry, pithy grapefruit, lemon, pith, marmalade, grass. It’s pretty bitter, dry, fresh, so much going on. This is a great Kernel, classic stuff

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from All Good Beer online. Pours unclear gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lovely beer, with relaxed rindy-piney bitterness, clean pale malts, a touch of flinty dryness, some lemon rind. Light bodied with fine massaging carbonation. Finishes with dry pine bitterness, more citrus accents, dry pale malts. Great one.

Bottle. Beer Ritz. Medium haze on a glowing, yellow gold. Nice Kernel swede. Nose has super fresh hop leaf giving off lemon and sweet orange notes. Some apricot. Touch of weed. Some pineapple skin. Clean malt backdrop. Taste is a little dry, and clean, mineraly bitter. Flicker of sweetness. Medium body. Fairly oily. Fine carbonation. Lingering, punchy bitterness to finish. Warrants multiples.
