Bottle from Mother Kelly’s. Golden colour, light hazy, thin white head. Aroma grassy straw, and Brett. Yeasty and smooth. Taste slight sour and hints of spice. Smooth body.

Keg at the brewpub. Funky citrus aroma. Hazy gold. Creamy white head sticks to the rim. Vinous sourness which soon smooths out to nothing. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Dry finish. I guess the Kòlsh element tempers the sour.

Keg at the Rake, 06/11/19. Pale yellow with a decent white cap. Nose is funk, straw, pale malts, grains, lemon rind, light perfumed dung. Taste ramps up and is quite brett forward, lemon tinged straw, airy malts, light tarte fruit esters, barnyard notes, kiss of bourbon. Medium bodied, soft massaging carbonation, semi drying close. A really well constructed number that delivers on its promise!
