Tap to bottle from lowcostbeer.com. Mostly clear golden-amber with small white top. Citric aroma with orange zest and hop spice dominating. Taste of orange peel, grapefruit, light tropical, pine, hop spice, touch of biscuit. Medium bodied, semi-dry, fine carbonation. It lacks the greater dryness and mouthfeel to be a genuine Brut IPA so I'll mark a point off. Tasty IPA though so I'm more than happy.

Keg at the pint shop Birmingham. A medium golden orange coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is fresh zesty orange, Stixky hop. Flavour is composed of stmi sweet, sticky orange rind, apricot, tangerine.. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, sticky hop. Good all round ipa.

Keg at the Pint Shop, Bingoham, Cotts Convention V day, 08/06/19. Clear golden orange with a decent off white cap that retains well. Nose is malty, bitter orange, grass, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange peel, light mineral bite, bitter citric zest, grass, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying spiked with dusty grassy hop bitterness. Decent IPA but not getting the usual brut vibes.

Can from Beers of Europe. Appearance - cloudyyellow amber with a big lively head. Nose - jaffa cake without the chocolate. Taste - pungent apricot and a hint of mango. Palate - close to medium bodied and creamy. The sweet malt base stops it from truly being a Brut. Overall - would be interesting to see the same beer made with purely pale malt.

Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy dark golden with a short-lived bubbly white head. Aromas of orange, light tropical fruit. Taste is mango, sweet ripe mango. Quite sweet for a Brut. Malty notes at the end.

Tap. Pint Shop, Cambridge. Hazed, orange gold. Thin, dense, lacing, glossy topped white head. Nose has sweet grain. Satsuma and candied peel. Some minty herb. A little flowery and soapy. Taste is very sweet for a supposed brut IPA. Some herbal bitterness. Medium body. A little sticky. Fine carbonation. Fairly sticky with herbal bitterness to finish. Decent enough, but it’s not true to “style”.
