Tap at Kitty's, Helsinki. Color is dark brown with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, coffee, chili, roasted malts... ok.

Tried at the stone works Peterborough. Black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma and taste roasted malty to chilli spice. Full body.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20191210) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts and strong pepper notes. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation and burning sensation from the chillies. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, pepper, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, sweet and bitter. A surprisingly good brew with burnt notes, pepper flavours and chilli burn, and still balanced and drinkable.

Tap at Toms Tap, Crewe Not sure this is a separate beer or just another name for Dia Del Huertos, but lets err on the side of caution. My friends told me that I should describe the colour as “black as death” – and they are basically correct. The nose is a nice warm spicy, peppery, chilli aroma. The chillis are also there in the mouth, but not overpowering. There is dark fruits and a smokyness in there too. Finish is the warmth of chillis. I don’t normally go for chilli beers, but this is quite nice.

7.4% On tap at Thomas Tallis Canterbury. Dark brown beer no head. Coffee on aroma right off. More coffee in mouth then some sweet chocolate. dry chilli finish with a little juicy. fullish juicy. decent. light heat from chilli. decent

Draught at RØØR, shared with Finn. Black in the glass, off-white head leaving clingy lacing down the glass. Earth and dark malty nose, mid-sweet. Chocolate and cold coffee flavours together with moderate impact of chili towards the finish. Satisfying. (Oslo 02.12.2018).
