Halfway to Heaven is well-balanced between crisp, biscuity maltiness and a citrus and fruit hop character. It is auburn/chestnut in colour, with a hint of bitterness in the finish. A Langham favourite.

Cask, handpump at the Hop Pole Inn, Aylesbury, Bucks, 08-09-09 Pours amber with a hazy white head. There is a touch of malt on the nose and some hops. Despite this being just a little past its best, this is still a reasonably tasty zippy, hoppy bitter. This maybe a touch one dimensional but its pretty good, served fresher and in tip top condition this could have been a very good beer for the abv. A5 A3 F7 P3 Ov12 3.0
