Can on the train to Tourist Town thanks to the Wingman, 15/03/16. Golden orange with a well appointed light beige cap. Nose is tangerine, grain, citric sherbets, leafy hop tones, straw. Taste comprises juicy citric shreds, light pine, caramel, floral notes, orange pith, candyfloss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, see drying close peppered with leafy hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity citrus hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy grapefruit bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter finish.

From a 330ml can on 19/12/2015. Pours a murky golden orange with not much of a head. Has a big tropical fruit nose, with plenty of passionfruit pineapple and mango in the mix. Take a sip and there’s a bit of caramel malt, but it’s fruit and hops that really hold sway. There’s peach, mango, apricot, pineapple, passionfruit and a bog load of grapefruit, as well as some grassy and spicy notes. It’s bitterness is very assertive - lots of grapefruit and resin. Medium bodied with average carbonation. This is a very full on, flavoursome IPA. Could use just a touch more sweetness for mine, but is otherwise excellent.

Can from Tanakaya. Drank straight from the can on the commute home. Great nose with big grapefruit, orange and pithy bitterness present with some marmalade and spice. Taste is more of the same with wonderful balance. Has an almost orange marmalade character with the malts and hops working very well together. Slighty sticky mouthfeel. Can from Bottle Shop at home. Translucent orange-copper pour with spotty thin head. Aroma is strong orange zesty hops with biscuit malt. Taste is similar - orange zest, deep bitterness, solid malt. Lighter body - and lighter on flavor than I would've hoped. Still, solid IPA. Would probably get again.

Pours amber with a large head.Nose show floral, herbal and earthy hops, very fresh-smelling. Some light malt underneath.Pretty similarly hoppy flavours. Very light, clean and fresh. A fairly assertive bitterness in the finish.

Growler. Hazy amber with a puffy white head. Very Kiwi-with-US-touches aroma of grass, gooseberries and passionfruit, some grapefruit and a fair bit of pine. Bittersweet with a dry, resinous bitter finish. Lots of tropical fruit, some citrus, pine builds. Solid, drinkable stuff.
